Undisguised images of the new 2021 Toyota Hilux have leaked out online, showing what the new model will look like when it arrives in the UK later this year.
The images, leaked online via Milele Motors, a dealer group in the UAE, show that Toyota as taken the existing model and heavily revised the body to share more in common with its Tacoma big brother. Gone are the horizontal bars at the front, replaced by a huge grille surrounded by metallic black plastics.

LED Lighting for 2021 Toyota Hilux
LED lights sit either side of the prominent grille, which are matched by revised LED lights at the rear. A reshaped tailgate will allow easier access to the load bed, and complements the modified bumper.

Different Trims
The images suggest the range-topping Invincible X will take on all of the new features, including new 18-inch alloy wheels, while lower-spec models will make do with traditional halogen lights, albeit with LED daytime running lights, and smaller, 17-inch wheels.

Performance Hilux?
It is expected that Toyota will continue with the 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine that currently powers the Hilux, although there are rumours that a GR Hilux to rival the Ford Ranger Raptor will see a more powerful V6 engine installed.
