Segway Powersports has launched its practical, go-anywhere Fugleman Utility machine in the UK, a follow-up to the Snarler ATV model.
The three-seater Fugleman U10TX Deluxe is a road-legal model brimming with usable technology whilst retaining the rugged versatility of a traditional’ side-by-side’.
Perfect for equine, agricultural and event work, the new ‘On Demand’ 4WD/2WD machine has 320mm of ground clearance and 280mm suspension to help it roll over tricky obstacles with ease. A 450kg tipper ‘bed box’ and 1,134kg towing capacity, matched with a powerful winch, gives the Fugleman an impressive ability to transport heavy loads.

A 1,000cc four-stroke engine delivers 105hp and 100Nm of torque to power through mud and steep inclines. In terms of stopping power, the Fugleman range features a powerful engine braking system allowing for safe and slow descents.
Three power steering modes keep the 2,085mm wheelbase machine feeling stable whilst turning, and power is supplied via a front axle diff-lock and straight drive rear axle.
The Fugleman, in line with all Segway Powersports machines, has serious tech, including a touchscreen control system, Smart Commanding System, Bluetooth-enabled ‘Airlock’ ignition and a smartphone Segway Powersports app to programme driving modes and access real-time ‘ride data’ such as horsepower, torque, range, mileage and speed.
You can also ‘Team Up’ with friends wirelessly, and, in the case of a ‘roll over’ or a severe accident, an SOS message will be sent to a chosen contact.
