Isuzu has revealed the latest version of its extreme off-road pickup, the D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35, at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show, promising even more capability, comfort, and tech for the rugged model.
Built on the updated D-Max platform introduced earlier this year, the latest AT35 continues its long-standing collaboration with Arctic Trucks, known for building vehicles capable of tackling some of the toughest terrain on the planet.
Bigger, tougher, and more capable
As before, the AT35 uses the familiar 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine, producing 360Nm of torque. It retains full commercial status, with a 1-tonne payload and 3.5-tonne towing capacity, but gains some serious off-road upgrades. It starts with 35-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres, Bilstein suspension, and a new Rough Terrain Mode that helps improve grip on slippery surfaces.
Approach, breakover and departure angles now sit at 35°, 34° and 22°, respectively, while the vehicle’s stance is both wider and taller than the standard D-Max. As expected, the rear diff lock and shift-on-the-fly 4WD system come as standard.
Inside, the double-cab cabin has had a significant tech lift. There’s a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an eight-speaker sound setup, and a wireless smartphone charging pad. The AT35 also gets leather upholstery, heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control.
A new 7.0-inch digital driver display keeps vital information in clear view, while ergonomic controls help keep the cabin user-friendly despite the rugged exterior.
Like the rest of the D-Max range, the AT35 gets a full suite of Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS). That includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, and rear cross traffic braking. Eight airbags and e-Call emergency functionality come as standard.
Built for adventure — and work
While it may look like a lifestyle vehicle, the AT35 retains a strong focus on commercial usability. Isuzu’s decision to maintain its commercial vehicle classification means it stays VAT-eligible for businesses, making it as attractive to trades as it is to adventurers.

The Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 is only available as a double-cab with a six-speed automatic transmission. Prices start from £57,005 excluding VAT, with colour options including Obsidian Grey, Onyx Black, Spinel Red, and Dolomite White. Splash White remains the standard no-cost colour.
