Isuzu has revived one of its most popular special editions, unveiling the 2025 D-Max Huntsman at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show. Based on the latest V-Cross trim, the Huntsman returns as a working companion for countryside professionals, gamekeepers, and forestry users, bringing a suite of practical upgrades and purpose-built kit.
The Huntsman was first introduced in 2012 and then revived in 2021, and while the core concept remains unchanged, offering a well-equipped D-Max tailored to life off the beaten track, the new version brings Isuzu’s latest styling, technology, and safety updates into play.
Ready for work on and off-road
The D-Max Huntsman is fitted with a comprehensive Huntsman Accessory Pack, designed for users who need a vehicle that’s more than just transport. It includes a lockable Gearmate drawer system in the load bed, ideal for storing tools or shooting gear securely, and a Brink towbar with 13-pin electrics to make full use of the D-Max’s 3.5-tonne towing capacity.
Rural-ready additions include an Aeroklas canopy (available in Commercial or Leisure spec), an under-rail bed liner, floor mats for muddy boots, and 18-inch black alloy wheels fitted with General Grabber all-terrain tyres. A set of custom side steps, tailgate assist, and a blackout styling pack for the grille, handles and roof rails complete the setup.
Underneath all the gear, the Huntsman remains a top-spec V-Cross, meaning it gets Isuzu’s latest creature comforts and safety tech. That includes a 9.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a premium eight-speaker audio system, and dual-zone climate control.
Safety has also been stepped up, with eight airbags, a rear diff lock, Rough Terrain Mode, and a full ADAS package including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and rear cross traffic alert.
Customised colour and conversions
The show model on display at the NEC wears a unique Techno Grey Metallic paint finish, developed specially for the event. While that colour isn’t available for production, it highlights what’s possible through the Isuzu Conversion Centre, where fleet and individual customers can explore custom paint and accessory options.

Isuzu D-Max Huntsman pricing and availability
The Huntsman Accessory Pack is now available to order through Isuzu dealers in two configurations. With the Aeroklas Commercial Canopy (no side windows), the pack costs £7,871.46 (fitted, excluding VAT), while the Aeroklas Leisure Canopy (with side windows) based pack is priced at £7,956.46. The pack can be added to any new Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.
