The Volkswagen ID Buzz Cargo electric van is available for UK customers to order, with buyers choosing between two trim levels with prices starting from £38,125 plus VAT.
ID Buzz Cargo: Trim Levels
Two trim levels will be available, although each will be highly specified. The ID Buzz Commerce model includes LED headlights, three front seats with a heated driver’s seat, front and rear parking sensors, and a 10.0-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
An extra £4,250 plus VAT will get buyers the Commerce Plus version. This model gains adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, a rearview camera, a heated windscreen, and a higher-specification infotainment system. A range of driver assistance and safety systems are included at this level, including lane assist, side assist and emergency assist.
All models are driven by a 204hp electric motor located under the floor of the van, powered by a 77kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Under official WLTP testing, the van has an all-electric range of 256 miles.

ID Buzz Cargo: Payload and Towing
The new ID. Buzz Cargo can accommodate two Euro pallets loaded sideways into the spacious cargo area. The overall volume of up to 3.9m3 is accessible through two sliding side doors to make loading convenient and flexible.
A fixed partition between the driver’s cab and the loading space can be fitted with a window and through-loading if required.
With its 204hp e-drive, trailer loads of up to 1,000 kg can also be attached to the optional trailer hitch.
Customers can choose from a two or three-seat configuration upfront, with plenty of space inside the cab for work essentials, thanks to clever cockpit storage.
