Stellantis is following Ford’s and GM’s footsteps and launching a commercial vehicle unit encompassing all six of the firm’s brands: Citroen, Fiat, Opel, Peugeot, Ram and Vauxhall. Called Stellantis Pro One, the business line will take on responsibility for vans, pickups, micro-mobility and next-generation electric LCVs, more details of which will be revealed shortly.
The LCV umbrella will link 400 existing global partnerships and extend to cover a connected converter/upfitter ecosystem, fully connected vehicle technologies and a full business partnership mindset to maximise customers’ business efficiency, minimise costs and grow profitability.
As part of the launch of the new ecosystem, Stellantis will reveal a fully refreshed zero-emission van lineup. While most will be pure electric and available across all six brands, there will also be a hydrogen-fuelled model. Full connectivity and top-level autonomous driving assistance systems will also be showcased.
Stellantis has produced hydrogen-powered vans previously, with the Peugeot e-Expert Hydrogen available in limited territories, with promises of a Vauxhall Vivaro Hydrogen model for the UK.

“We are launching Pro One to leverage our undeniable commercial vehicles leadership with the concept – six brands, one force – as this business accounts for one-third of Stellantis Net revenues,” said Jean-Philippe Imparato, head of the Stellantis commercial vehicles business unit. “As customer expectations grow more complex and diverse, we are here to address each specific need with a dedicated solution. Our mission is to stand side by side with our customers around the world and deliver the products and services that help them thrive.”
The Pro One strategy is also piloting a retrofit program with Qinomic, leveraging Stellantis’ Circular Economy expertise to extend the lifespan of existing internal combustion van fleets via an affordable, trustworthy electrification conversion.
Announced last year, Qinomic and Stellantis are developing a proof of concept to convert existing LCVs to electric power while maintaining OEM quality and specifications, such as safety, durability, and type approval. The electric retrofit solution aims to protect freedom of mobility with an affordable option that meets customer needs to extend the life of their vehicles and continue business activities while accessing low emissions zones in cities.
The commercial vehicle business within Stellantis accounts for one-third of its net revenues, with 1.6 million sales annually. The manufacturer plans to double commercial vehicle revenues by 2030, with 40% of vehicles provided with an electric powertrain.
