SsangYong has added another dealer to its growing network, with the addition of Tees Valley Motors in Darlington.
Established in October 2004, Tees Valley Motors
is a family run business that represented the Mitsubishi franchise for almost 17 years before the manufacturer’s withdrawal from the UK.
The Darlington facility will display SsangYong’s full range, including the flagship Rexton SUV and facelifted Musso pickup truck. The compact Tivoli SUV and Korando crossover will also be present, including the new pure electric variant.
In addition to the new models, Tees Valley Motors offers a large external forecourt and full aftersales centre, offering servicing, MOT and repairs. Customers will be able to relax in comfort in the hospitality area and enjoy complimentary refreshments as well as free Wi-Fi.
“We are delighted to welcome Tees Valley Motors to the SsangYong franchise and to extend our representation in the northeast,” said Kevin Griffin, managing director at SsangYong. “The team has a wealth of experience and an outstanding reputation which will ensure an excellent customer journey.”
Neal Gibson, managing director at Tees Valley SsangYong, added: “Here at Tees Valley Motors, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional customer experience and also on retaining future business by developing strong relationships with our customers, indeed many have become good friends.
“Our staff are extremely loyal, with many being with us since we opened and there is always a friendly face to welcome customers, both new and old. We look forward to welcoming our customers and introducing them to the SsangYong brand.”
