Isuzu has used the 2024 Commercial Vehicle Show
to start sales of its limited edition D-Max V-Cross Steel Edition pickup.
Limited to just 300 vehicles, the Steel model is loaded with cosmetic touches to separate it from the regular D-Max models. As well as an exclusive Steel Grey Mica colour, the special edition also gains dark grey wheel arch extensions, roof rails, and Isuzu badging, alongside electric folding mirrors, a tailgate damper, and ‘STEEL’ branding everywhere you look.
The rest of the pickup is shared with the top-of-the-range V-Cross trim level, which sees the truck fitted with automatic Bi-LED headlights and windscreen wipers, 18-inch alloy wheels, parking sensors, a reversing camera, side steps, and keyless entry.
Inside, there’s leather upholstery, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support, dual-zone climate control and a 9.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with DAB, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The V-Cross Steel Edition also retains the commercial vehicle capabilities that other Isuzu pickups possess, which means it has a one-tonne payload and a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes. Shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive, a rear differential lock, and a wading depth of 800mm ensure it can cope with challenging terrain.
A five-year or 125,000-mile warranty with five years of roadside assistance also backs each pickup.
Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Steel Edition: Price and Availability
The Isuzu D-Max Steel Edition is available with a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic transmission, priced at £38,495 or £39,995 plus VAT, respectively. Order books open in May, with deliveries starting soon after.
