Jameel Motors, the distributor of the upcoming Farizon SV electric van, has signed a significant agreement with the AA to provide nationwide service, maintenance, repair, and roadside assistance coverage — all included as standard for customers.
With order books now open and the first deliveries expected soon, the partnership means Farizon SV owners will benefit from a ready-made aftersales support network, complementing Jameel Motors’ plans to establish a dedicated Farizon dealer footprint across the UK.
The AA’s support package includes access to 213 EV- and LCV-certified workshops nationwide, alongside a fleet of more than 100 mobile technicians. One year of AA Roadside Assistance is also included with every new Farizon SV and remains valid even if the vehicle changes hands.
As part of the agreement, the AA aims to provide routine service bookings within 48 hours, backed by a dedicated telephone helpline for technical advice and service enquiries. Average roadside response times are currently running at just 49 minutes.
“Minimising downtime is paramount for van users and we’ve been determined to ensure we can instil absolute peace of mind for our customers,” explained Kate McLaren, head of marketing and sales at Jameel Motors UK. “This partnership with the AA strengthens the Farizon SV’s already compelling offer to fleets and sole traders. From the very first customers to take delivery later this month, we have them covered with award-winning aftersales provision on the phone and on the road, whatever they need.”
James Starling, business services director at the AA, added: “We have established an award-winning track record for pioneering services that de-risk fleets and keep vehicles on the road. Always ahead, we have invested in comprehensive and innovative services to support EVs through our fully EV trained roadside patrols, mobile technicians and garage network. We are extremely impressed with the Farizon SV and are looking forward to working with Jameel Motors on its pioneering EV van fleet to enhance the on the road experience for its customers in the future.”
The Farizon SV, which is being shown at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show (29 April–1 May), comes with a comprehensive four-year / 120,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
The first UK customers for the Farizon SV will be announced shortly.
