While the high-grade Invincible models of the new Toyota Hilux have attracted some attention for their robust prices, the entry point to Hilux ownership will start at an affordable £22,466.
While the entry-level Active level has seen price increases of around £1,800, depending on cab choice, the popular Icon grade has risen by only £600 over the previous model.
Every new Hilux will come with connected car capabilities, including features such as driving analytics, maintenance reminders and ‘find my car’. Standard features also include air-conditioning, radio and CD player, Bluetooth with USB, auto headlights and a rear differential lock.
Toyota Hilux: Grades and Equipment
The single cab Active grade features Toyota Safety Sense 2 fitted as standard, incorporating a pre-collision system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert and road sign assist. The extra and double cab models also have fuel-saving stop/start technology. Hilux Active prices start at £22,466 CV OTR for the single cab and rise to £24,341 CV OTR for the double cab.
For the Icon grade, available in double cab only, pricing starts at £26,549 CV OTR. That extra cost sees the latest multimedia software installed, including smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, coupled with a new 8-inch Toyota Touchscreen. New 17-inch alloy wheels and an automatic limited-slip differential improve low grip driving in two-wheel-drive mode. Other Icon features include power-folding door mirrors, a reversing camera, privacy glass, LED front fog-lamps and side-steps. An automatic gearbox option is available at an extra £1,250 plus VAT.
Invincible and Invincible X trim levels feature a lengthy list of standard features, with prices ranging from £29,158 CV OTR to £33,783 CV OTR.
All Hilux models will retain a one-tonne payload capability, with 3.5-tonne towing delivered across all models and body styles, and are available to order now.
