Scaffolding firm Burflex has taken delivery of seven new Isuzu D-Max DL20 pickups to support operations across more than 70 construction sites nationwide.

Supplied by Livingstone Motor Group in East Yorkshire, the trucks replace the company’s previous pickup fleet and will be used for transporting gear, towing equipment, and navigating rough terrain on sites. Each vehicle features custom company decals applied by a local specialist.

Burflex’s Operations Director, Rich Fieldhouse, said the decision followed a positive experience with a D-Max V-Cross delivered last year for a contracts manager. “Burflex engaged with Livingstone Isuzu as the time came to change its fleet of crew cab pick-ups. I was put in touch with Dave at Livingstone Motor Group and, from day one, he was very accommodating and helpful in getting us the right deal for our new fleet,” explained Fieldhouse. “Even when we had to get the new fleet wrapped by a third-party company, Dave was on hand to assist and dealt with everything on behalf of Burflex, allowing us to concentrate on our day-to-day duties in our scaffolding division. We took possession of the pick-ups as promised by Dave, and they were of impressive quality.”

Isuzu D-Max DL20 for Burflex

The DL20 is a mid-spec model in the D-Max line-up, offering over a tonne of payload and a 3.5-tonne towing capacity, backed by Isuzu’s five-year/125,000-mile warranty.

Livingstone Motor Group, which added Isuzu to its portfolio in 2021, says the deal reflects its growing commercial customer base.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Burflex in securing a deal for seven Isuzu DL20 pick-ups to assist with its operations,” said Andrew Iveson, managing director at Livingstone Motor Group. “We always strive to maintain great relations with prospects and existing customers, so our work with Burflex is another example of this. We hope that the team at Burflex will agree that the new vehicle decals design looks sensational, and we’re pleased to see a returning customer being happy with the service provided and the vehicle purchased.”
