The Arctic Trucks modified Toyota Hilux AT35 might be the next big thing here, but the Icelandic firm’s Russian counterpart has released an upgraded version of the Mitsubishi L200.

Marking the first time that Arctic Trucks has worked with Mitsubishi, the L200 gets various upgrades including a suspension lift, 35-inch off-road tyres and a wider track, amongst countless other changes.

Suspension upgrades give the L200 AT35 its off-road-ready dynamic, with OME suspension parts lifting the pickup by 45mm. A set of 17-inch Arctic Truck alloy wheels and 35-inch off-road tyres leave the ride height raised by 50mm at 270mm from 220mm.

The vehicle track is extended by 110mm at the front, with the rear wheel track being 120mm wider than the standard Mitsubishi L200. The bodywork has been comprehensively modified to support the changes, with an adjusted front bumper, extended wheel arches and revised fender liners. All joints have been treated with a corrosion-resistant coating.

The changes can be carried out in just seven days and leave Mitsubishi’s respected Super Select 4WD system intact.

However, while there may be any number of Mitsubishi L200 owners keen to convert their pickup to this specification, it’s currently only available from Arctic Trucks in Russia. With the withdrawal of Mitsubishi from the UK market, it’s unluckily we’ll see the product offered officially over here.
