For more than 20 years, Iveco has been developing alternative fuel vehicles, with natural gas and electric models helping flees to cut carbon emissions. It’s now going further and pledging to plant a tree sapling for every new Iveco sold — and even backdating this initiative to January 2022.
The pledge will apply to all Iveco models, from the Iveco Daily van to the S-Way truck. Every new diesel, electric, CNG/BioCNG and LNG/BioLNG vehicle — as well as the new all-electric Iveco eDaily van — will see Iveco’s partner, The Future Forest Company, planting a tree and adding to the company’s pledge to remove a million tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere by 2030.
Its UK tree-planting program aims to improve air quality and create new habitats for wildlife to thrive. These new forests will help restore essential biodiversity and protect endangered species.

Iveco will give the all-electric eDaily van (which we’ve reviewed here) its UK debut at the Commercial Vehicle show in May.
