Isuzu D-Max AT35 Stealth Revealed • Professional Pickup

The head-turning Isuzu D-Max AT35 Stealth was officially uncovered in Hall 5 at the CV Show in Birmingham this week. This special-edition D-Max has been developed in conjunction with off-road specialists Arctic Trucks and is limited to just 10 models.

Knight Rider Style

With its Cosmic Black Mica paint finish, the AT35 looks like it’s been plucked from the Knight Rider set which is emphasised by the black fittings. Everything from the roof bars, side steps, radiator grille, fog light surrounds, bumper trims, door handles, and even the ‘Isuzu’ and ‘Arctic Trucks’ badges are finished in black, while the Isuzu decal has been removed from the tailgate.

Further additions to the exterior include both a black rear sports bar and a black Mountain Top roller cover to complete the full Stealth look.

However, where there is dark, there is also light: Stealth benefits from LED headlights and front fog lights, as well as two sets of Lazer lights, on the front bumper and sports bar.

Plenty of KITT

Isuzu has spared no expense in kitting out the interior, either. A new 9.0-inch infotainment system now adorns the dashboard which is connected to nine speakers, including a subwoofer and HDMI port. The Stealth also benefits from features from the standard range, including dual-zone climate control and electrically adjustable seats.

Underneath the bonnet is Isuzu’s latest AdBlue-free 1.9-litre engine, hooked to a six-speed automatic transmission.

“Stealth is an exclusive pick-up with a striking presence,” explained William Brown, managing director for Isuzu UK. “The new Stealth builds on the prowess of the Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 and takes it to another level.”

Price and Availability

Priced at £44,005 plus VAT, the Stealth carries a hefty £7,000 premium over the standard D-Max AT35. However, there is quite a lot included for the extra money and, because it’s limited to just 10 models, residual values are expected to be impressive.
