KGM has supported a team of serving RAF Regiment personnel as they completed the UK Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Combat Stress.
The team, from Field Support IFPT, began the challenge on 2 May 2026, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon — the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales — within 24 hours.
Across the challenge, the team covered 26 miles on foot and travelled more than 1,000 miles by road between the three peaks.
KGM supplied two Musso Saracen pickups to support the team’s logistics throughout the event, helping transport personnel and equipment between locations as the team worked to complete the challenge on schedule.

A spokesperson for the Field Support IFPT team said: “Completing the Three Peaks was a huge test, but we were determined to see it through for Combat Stress. The charity’s work for veterans’ mental health is vital, and we wanted every mile and every climb to count.
“The practical support we received helped us keep the challenge running smoothly and stay focused on the mission.”
Kevin Griffin, managing director at KGM Motors UK, added: “We are proud to have supported the Field Support IFPT team as they completed an outstanding Three Peaks Challenge for Combat Stress.
“This was a demanding undertaking that required determination, planning and teamwork, and the cause is an important one. Providing two Musso Saracens was a practical way for us to support their operation and help the team concentrate on completing the challenge and raising awareness for veterans’ mental health.”
Combat Stress provides specialist support to former service personnel experiencing mental health challenges including PTSD, anxiety and depression. The charity offers treatment and support services, including therapy, counselling and community-based care.
