KGM has added long-established Scunthorpe retailer Baden Powell to its dealer network, strengthening the brand’s coverage across North Lincolnshire.
The family-run business, based on Ashby High Street, has been trading for more than 90 years. Founded in 1933 as a bicycle shop, the company later moved into motor repairs and built its reputation on engineering expertise developed during and after the Second World War. Many of its staff have been with the business for several decades, reflecting its long-standing focus on customer service and continuity.
As an appointed KGM dealer, Baden Powell will offer the full model range, including the Musso pickup and Rexton Commercial van, alongside the brand’s SUV lineup. A dedicated aftersales operation and parts support will also be available on site.
Dealer Principal Simon Powell said the partnership is a good fit for the business. “Our family company has always been about quality, trust and good value, and KGM reflects those same values,” he said. “We’re looking forward to introducing more customers to the brand.”
KGM Motors UK managing director Kevin Griffin said the addition strengthens the company’s presence in the region. “Baden Powell’s heritage and strong local reputation make them an excellent partner for KGM,” he said.
