Vauxhall continues to be the UK’s best-selling electric light commercial vehicle manufacturer, with the Vivaro Electric and Combo Electric taking the first and third spots on March’s sales chart.

Vauxhall was the UK’s best-selling eLCV manufacturer in 2022 and remains the best-selling manufacturer year-to-date 2023, according to the latest registration figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

There were 833 Vauxhall Vivaro Electric van sales in March, the first month of the new ‘23’ registration plate. The smaller Combo Electric found 226 buyers in the month.

With such a strong performance, Vauxhall has captured 33.1% of the eLCV market in the UK in 2023. The brand’s success stems from being only one of few manufacturers offering an electric version across its entire line-up, providing fleets and businesses with electric vans to suit a wide variety of needs. Vauxhall will be an electric-only manufacturer from 2028.

Vauxhall eLCV range tops sales charts

James Taylor, Managing Director, Vauxhall, said: “As a growing number of UK businesses continue to electrify their fleets, we’re pleased to see so many turn to Vauxhall when it comes to reducing their carbon footprint. Our van range offers a solution to a number of business and fleet needs, from small enterprises to large, national fleet operators.”
