EV charging software company Rightcharge has partnered with Mercedes-Benz Vans to make it easier and more affordable for businesses to manage and charge electric vehicles.

Rightcharge offers electric van drivers a solution for charge point installations, simplifying the process from start to finish. Drivers can select from a range of charge points, access competitive prices through a network of vetted installers, and handle installation payments all in one place.

Mercedes Vans and Rightcharge have collaborated to provide electric vehicle buyers with contributions towards the cost of charge point installations. Current offers include a £1,000 contribution for customers purchasing an eCitan through Mercedes Van dealers.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting electric fleets. In 2024, Mercedes will introduce new large and midsize vans, while Rightcharge plans to launch an electric fuel card and a fleet management solution.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with a brand that is as loved and respected as Mercedes-Benz as we work closely together to simplify the transition to electric vans,” explained Rightcharge CEO Charlie Cook. “Businesses and van drivers can now find the perfect charge point for their needs in just a few clicks. We’re excited to further develop this relationship and create a more sustainable future for Britain.”

Sarah Palfreyman, sales director of Mercedes-Benz Vans, added: “This partnership further cements our commitment to supporting the UK’s van community in transitioning to electric. We know that infrastructure is a vital part of EV ownership, so we’re pleased to partner with Rightcharge to provide a solution that will keep our customers moving efficiently and sustainably.”
