Peugeot has dropped the price of its updated Expert van range, including the fully electric e-Expert, with the aim of giving businesses and fleet customers more transparent pricing. List prices have been reduced by £1,000 across the entire model range, whilst other changes include the addition of a new automatic gearbox option.
Peugeot Expert: Model Updates
The new model year sees updates across the entire Peugeot Expert range, with every trim receiving a revised name. Professional Plus and Grip models have been dropped, with the rest of the range having the word Premium appended to the model name. That leaves us with the S Premium, mid-spec Professional Premium and top-of-the-range Asphalt Premium.
Entry-level S Premium models are exclusively sold in Standard length, while Professional Premium and Asphalt Premium models can be specified in Standard or Long body lengths. Professional Premium models can also be purchased in shortened Compact lengths, and is the only trim level choice on the Crew Van variant.
Professional Premium models come with a 7.0-inch colour touchscreen with DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Rear parking sensors, an alarm, air conditioning and automatic lights and windscreen wipers are also included in the standard specification.
All Expert and e-Expert models come with Connect SOS & Assistance and a six-month subscription to Free2Move Connect Fleet Telematics, which includes Fleet Management, Eco Driving & Geolocation packs.
Peugeot Expert: New Engine and Automatic Gearbox Option
In response to customer demand for automatic versions, a new BlueHDi 145 EAT8 automatic engine has been introduced to the range. The gearbox will be offered on Professional Premium models only.
Peageot Expert: Pricing and Availability
Peugeot has decreased the basic price, before VAT and on-the-road costs, for the Expert and full electric e-Expert by £1,000 across the entire model range, making the van even more accessible for businesses and fleets. Prices for the Expert now start from £22,995 
plus VAT and OTR costs, while the zero-emissions e-Expert starts from £32,450 plus VAT and OTR costs, but before the Plug-in Van Grant of up to £6,000 is applied.
