Kia has announced plans for a dedicated dealer network of PBV Centres to support its upcoming electric van range, with the first deliveries of the new PV5 expected in late 2025.

The PBV Centre network will act as Kia’s specialist commercial vehicle hub, offering sales, servicing, and aftersales support exclusively for its new electric van line-up, starting with the Kia PV5 van, which made its UK debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show in May.

Pre-orders for the PV5 are already open, with Kia aiming to shift between 3,000–4,000 units in the first year, scaling up to 17,000 PBVs per year by 2030.

The PBV Centres will be spread nationwide and operated by hand-picked partners with existing fleet, business, or LCV expertise, including some based within multi-brand van sites. All sites will feature dedicated workshops, service bays, high-capacity ramps, trained technicians, and tailored customer areas.

“The new PBV Centre network will be built on the back of our successful partnership with our dealer network and the vast majority of our new PBV Centres will be managed by an existing partner,” explained Kia UK president and CEO, Paul Philpott. “We will capitalise on our fleet and business expertise within our network, and are looking to operate very much under the same franchise principles we employ across our car business that have earned praise from our partners and customers alike.”

The PV5 – Kia’s first fully electric commercial vehicle – will be available exclusively through PBV Centres, including both Cargo and Passenger variants. More PBVs are expected to follow, including larger PV7 and PV9 vans previewed at Kia’s global PBV showcase earlier this year.
