Iveco has announced the winners of its 2025 Mission Awards, an event recognising operators getting the most from the brand’s light commercial vehicles. Now expanded to cover the full Iveco range from 3.5t Daily to 44t S-Way, the ceremony brought together 150 guests to celebrate standout work across waste management, delivery, innovation and bodybuilding.

But while the 2025 awards event spanned everything from small vans to heavy trucks, it was the Iveco eDaily that dominated this year’s LCV categories.

Keenan Recycling takes overall Iveco Mission honours

The top prize went to Keenan Recycling, whose fleet of biomethane-fuelled Eurocargo CNG trucks runs on gas produced from the very food waste they collect. Judges praised the circular-economy approach and substantial CO₂ reductions.

Lewes District Council wins for Waste Management with eDaily refuse collectors

Lewes District Council claimed the Grounds Maintenance & Waste Management award with three new Iveco eDaily 42S14e refuse collectors. Each uses the three-battery configuration, delivering up to 186 miles of range even while powering a Terberg Matec compactor via the ePTO.

Safety was a core part of the build, with guards, sensors, and a 360° camera system included. The vehicles were supplied by Northern Commercials and are expected to remain in service for eight years as part of the council’s wider decarbonisation plans.

Agrii recognised for 7.2-tonne eDaily rollout

Agrii took the Delivery & Distribution award after refreshing its fleet with five new 7.2-tonne eDaily curtainsiders. Four modular batteries offer up to 180 miles of usable range with no impact on load space thanks to the eDaily’s truck-based chassis.

The vans also feature Trailar solar panels, generating around 500kWh annually – equivalent to over three full charges. South West Truck & Van supplied the vehicles.

Torton Bodies named Bodybuilder of the Year

Torton Bodies won the Bodybuilder of the Year, awarded by two times Britain’s Strongest Man, Adam Bishop. Its work on Cheshire West and Chester Council’s “Book Bus,” a mobile library built on a three-battery eDaily 70C14E chassis and designed to bring educational services to rural communities, won particular praise.

Livery of the Year: Cheshire West & Chester Council

The same Book Bus also earned Cheshire West and Chester Council the Livery of the Year award, voted for by attendees, incuding Professional Van. Its colourful wrap adds character to what is now becoming a familiar template for community-focused eLCVs.

FCH Construction won Construction & Utilities with its high-spec X-Way Tridem, Keenan Recycling also took the Alternative Fuels trophy for its Eurocargo CNG fleet, and Astra Vehicle Technologies secured the Innovation Award for developing an S-Way CNG 6×2 capable of operating at 44 tonnes.

Iveco confirmed that the Mission Awards will return in 2026, with electric and low-carbon vans expected to continue to dominate many of the entry categories.
