Iveco is expanding its Driveaway programme of ready-built conversions with the introduction of three new Daily 3.5-tonne options, broadening its range in response to robust demand from operators. The new options comprise a Traffic Management Cab, a Curtainside model, and a Welfare Van.
The Traffic Management Cab 3.5T is designed to support traffic management tasks and features a dropside body, an integrated sign rack, cone wells, and a sliding access panel. Collaborating with body builder Brit-tipp, Iveco has ensured this aluminium-constructed vehicle utilises the payload capacity offered by the Iveco Daily’s truck-based chassis effectively.

The second addition, the Curtainside 3.5T model, delivers on cargo volume and accessibility. This model, developed in partnership with Bodywork Solutions, boasts two rows of internal lashing bars and a barn rear door. Consistent with the company’s sustainability commitments, the anti-slip floor surfacing is made from recyclable thermoplastics, a feature now also available in the sister 7.2-tonne model.
The final addition, the Welfare Van 3.5T, addresses the needs of businesses requiring the transportation of people and tools. The vehicle comes equipped with comfortable seating for seven occupants, a sink area with hot and cold water tanks, a microwave, a hot water boiler, and toilet facilities, serving the workforce’s needs while on-site.

Each of the new Driveaway vehicles will be powered by the Daily’s 136hp diesel engine paired with a new manual transmission with a clutch promising an 18% increase in durability compared to its predecessor. The vehicles also feature extended intervals for gearbox oil changes, now over 200,000 miles.
The Driveaway 3.5-tonne models, based on the Iveco Daily Business trim level, offer standard features, including manual air conditioning, cruise control, front fog lights, and electrically heated door mirrors.
All new Driveaway Daily box vans will be constructed using Omnia panels, which are 20% lighter than conventional materials due to their recycled content. These panels are also fully recyclable at the end of their lifespan, reinforcing the company’s focus on sustainability.
“The Driveaway programme has proven exceptionally popular, giving businesses a product that’s ready to hit the ground running,” explained Mike Cutts, Iveco UK light business-line director. “These new additions will bolster an already extensive catalogue.”
These vehicles are available now from all Iveco dealerships at a ‘single invoice’ price and come with a 2XL Planned Maintenance Package, which helps keep ownership costs predictable for operators.
