The Isuzu D-Max Fury will be returning for the 2019 model year, Isuzu has confirmed. The previous generation Fury, available with the 2.5-litre diesel unit, was a huge hit for Isuzu and it’s hoping the new model can replicate that success.

Part of the Isuzu D-Max Fury’s success has been its affordability. While it may lack some of the creature comforts of the Utah or flagship Blade trim (the Fury is based on the mid-spec Yukon) it offers operators a unique proposition; a high-end appearance with base-level affordability.

The ‘Magma Red’ with black detailing colour-scheme creates a strong road presence, which is complemented by the 18-inch dark grey alloy wheels and grille with its eye-catching red Isuzu badge. There are also gun metal side steps, cosmic black door mirrors (which are heated and electrically-adjustable) with integrated side indicator repeaters, black door and tailgate handles, and black Fury exterior decals.

D-Max Fury: Fiery Interior

It’s a similar story on the inside with a dark grey cloth upholstery, red stitching on the soft padded armrests and steering wheel, and Fury-branded carpet mats. For an additional £1,000 plus VAT, customers can opt for an exclusive black and red upholstery with ‘Fury’ stitched into the seatbacks.

Standard features include manual air conditioning, reversing camera, front and rear LED lights, while infotainment is provided by a Pioneer DAB radio system with a seven-inch touchscreen display, steering-wheel-mounted controls, CD Player and both front and rear USB ports.

D-Max Fury: Price and Availability

The Isuzu D-Max Fury is competitively priced at £22,499 plus VAT, and is available to order now. However, it will not be arriving in UK dealerships until January 2019. The Fury is backed by Isuzu’s well-respected five-year, 125,000-mile warranty, and service intervals are set at 12,000 miles or two years.
