At the Hyvolution 2023
exhibition in Paris, Hyvia and HysetCo announced that they are to join forces to accelerate the development of hydrogen mobility for light commercial vehicles.
Hyvia and HysetCo are developing a new cooperation which aims to improve the customer experience for Hyvia users.
The due are investigating offering an integrated package of Hyvia commercial vehicles, including the vehicle, the associated services, and the supply of hydrogen from HysetCo. The partnership will also look at expanding HysetCo’s network of public hydrogen refuelling stations and improving user experience in the network.
Hyvia — a joint venture between Renault and American fuel cell manufacturer Plug Power — is dedicated to hydrogen mobility, offers an ecosystem of solutions including a range of hydrogen-fuelled light commercial vehicles (van, minibus, chassis cab) and private H2 refuelling stations for its professional customers.
HysetCo, the leading company in light hydrogen mobility in France, is another joint venture, this time between Air Liquide, Idex, STEP, and Toyota. The company develops and operates public H2 refuelling stations and offers integrated solutions to facilitate access to hydrogen mobility for professionals.
