Stellantis has extended its partnership with Octopus Energy to support electric van drivers across the UK.
Already available to Vauxhall customers, the partnership has expanded to include the Citroen, Fiat and Peugeot brands, with access to a range of benefits for electric van drivers. Through Octopus, drivers will have access to more than 330,000 public charge points across the UK and Europe, with one single payment card and app and access to new smart energy tariffs.
On the road, drivers can plug into public charging networks from leading providers, including IONITY, Shell Recharge, Osprey, FASTNED and ubitricity.
The partnership allows customers to have an Ohme wallbox charger installed at home, linked to a flexible charging tariff, Intelligent Octopus
. The wallbox can be connected to a smartphone app allowing customers to schedule vehicle charging to suit their needs.
The Intelligent Octopus tariff features electricity produced from 100% renewable sources. The vehicle will charge off-peak when energy is at its cheapest, offering customers savings compared to a standard variable rate and helping to balance demand on the grid. It will also provide a guaranteed lower rate per kWh (currently 10p/kWh at the Professional Van address) during an off-peak window between 11.30pm and 5.30am.
