Citroen has shuffled its trim levels around a little, with the whole range of LCVs now unified in offering just two trim levels; Enterprise Edition and Driver Edition.
Introduced with the Berlingo van, the new specification monikers replace the existing Enterprise Pro and Driver Pro names.
Citroen Berlingo
The compact Citroen Berlingo and electric e-Berlingo are available as panel vans in M and XL lengths in both Enterprise and Driver trim, while the five-seater Crew Van is limited to the longer XL variant — but only in Enterprise trim.
The entry-level Enterprise versions are fitted with air conditioning, cruise control, electric windows and electrically adjustable door mirrors. An 8.0-inch infotainment screen provides a DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity, with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto included.
Splashing out on the Driver models adds a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, automatic windscreen wipers, rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, and electrically folding heated door mirrors. The infotainment system also gains satellite navigation. The exterior is boosted by 16-inch alloy wheels and body-coloured side rubbing strips and rear bumper.
Practicality is also improved by the Extenso modular folding passenger bench seat with pivoting writing table and additional storage.
Important safety equipment, such as automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and distance alert, remains a cost option on both models.
Prices now start from £19,020 plus VAT for an entry-level Berlingo M Enterpris Edition 110hp petrol model, rising to £24,535 for a Berlingo XL Driver Edition 130hp diesel with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The electric e-Berlingo ranges from £31,085 to £33,540.
Citroen Dispatch
The medium-sized Dispatch and electric e-Dispatch follow the same format, with the panel vans being available in M or XL body lengths in the new Enterprise and Driver trims. The Crew Van is also available in the same body lengths, although the high-specification Driver model is limited to the shorter M length.
Enterprise models feature cruise control, electric windows and electrically adjustable door mirrors. A small 7.0-inch infotainment screen is also fitted, with Bluetooth connectivity, a DAB radio, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A dual passenger bench seat with a storage tray aids practicality.
The Driver trim level adds front fog lights, automatic lights with LED daylight running lights, automatic windscreen wipers, and electrically folding heated door mirrors. The dual passenger seat also features a fold-up outer seat with a load-through flap and a fold-down writing table in the central seat back. The small infotainment system gains a navigation programme and displays the image from a reversing camera.
Externally, the Driver can be differentiated by body-coloured front and rear bumpers, side rubbing strips, exterior door handles, and 17-inch steel wheels with wheel trims.
Automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning and blind spot assistance are all limited to the options list, available as part of a £1,000 safety pack.
Prices start at £25,170 plus VAT for the Dispatch M 100hp diesel, rising to £34,070 Crew Van Driver Edition 180hp automatic. Electric models start at £38,210 and go up to £45,060.
Citroen Relay
Available in nine combinations of length and height, the Citroen Relay and electric e-Relay range is limited to one Enterprise trim level. As with the Berlingo and Dispatch, the single-specification model includes air conditioning, cruise control, electric front windows and heated electrically adjustable mirrors.
As with the Dispatch, there’s a 7.0-inch infotainment centre providing Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring and a DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity. Diesel models also get ‘Telematic Box for Free2Move Connect Fleet Services’ for business customers.
Several optional packs add cosmetic, convenience or practical updates to the Relay. Automatic emergency braking, forward collin warning, lane departure warning and automatic high beam lights are all available as part of an optional safety pack, costing £750.
The revised Relay range starts with the Panel Van Enterprise L1H1 120hp at £26,390 plus VAT, rising to £34,085 for the Window Van Enterprise L4H2 Heavy 165hp at £34,085. The electric e-Relay runs from £62,785 to £63,685.
