An update to the Citroen Berlingo Van range adds new drivetrains and technologies, making it more appealing for fleets and business users. Now available to order, prices for the revised Berlingo Van start from £17,855 plus VAT.
Berlingo Van: Drivetrain Updates
The BlueHDi 100 model sees the 1.6-litre diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, replacing the older five-speed option. The addition of an extra gear ratio for the 102hp output improves efficiency and refinement, and helps the Berlingo Van meet the latest Euro 6.3 emission standards.
Citroen’s 1.2-litre petrol engine, badged as the PureTech 110, is now available in the medium length ‘Driver Pro’ variant of the Berlingo Van. The three-cylinder unit produces 110hp of power and 205Nm of torque, all of which now goes through a six-speed manual gearbox.
All Berlingo Van models therefore now come with a six-speed manual gearbox, with the exception of the BlueHDi 130 models. These continue to be fitted with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Berlingo Van: Interior Upgrades
A new 10.0-inch digital instrument panel, fitted as standard to the ‘Driver Pro’ models and optional on ‘Enterprise Pro’ variants, is the most obvious change to the interior. The customisable display features improved graphics over the previous version and replaces traditional analogue dials where previously fitted.
A 5.0-inch black and white touchscreen is added to the ‘X Pro’ and ‘Worker Pro’ versions of the Berling Van, a feature that was previously unavailable.

Pure Electric e-Berlingo Van
An all-electric e-Berlingo Van will be launched towards the end of 2021. This new 100% electric compact van is fitted with a 50kWh battery pack and a 136hp electric motor, and is capable of up to 171 miles from a single charge.
