A partnership between Citroen and Citizen Zoo will see the rewilding social enterprise utilise the all-electric e-Berlingo van to support its activities around the UK.
Citizen Zoo will use the Citroen e-Berlingo in its rewilding initiatives over the coming months, including the reintroduction of beavers to regions of west London, the distribution of large marsh grasshoppers across Norfolk, and the renewal of Kingston’s most expansive nature reserve. The electric van will also play a critical role in facilitating the transportation of essential equipment for ongoing projects, such as the surveillance and habitat improvement of water voles reintroduced to a southwest London river last year.
By employing the e-Berlingo, Citizen Zoo
will be able to navigate nationwide with zero tailpipe emissions, underlining the organisation’s commitment to environmental sustainability — its mission is to bring people and communities together with its engagement programmes to create a world full of diversity, beauty and the abundance of nature.
