Peugeot is proving to be an electrifying prospect, having delivered over 1,000 fully-electric vans on the UK’s roads so far this year. More than half of all electric vans registered in February are from the French manufacturers’ line-up, making it the largest supplier currently in the UK.
Peugeot, and its Stellantis partners at Citroen and Vauxhall, offer a comprehensive range of electric commercial vehicles to cover all elements of the market. From the compact e-Partner, the medium-sized e-Expert, and up to the larger e-Boxer, customers will find something to suit their needs. Each model is uncompromising in terms of useful volume and practicality when compared with the diesel versions, thanks to the clever engineering and packaging of the battery packs and electric motor.
The vans also offer all the benefits of electric motoring, such as lower running costs, ease of driving with instant throttle response and high torque, as well as the absence of noise, vibrations and tailpipe emissions.
Buyers can also benefit from the recently extended plug-in van grant scheme
from the UK government, too. This provides up to £5,000 towards the cost of an electric van for cash buyers, with finance rates and leasing costs reduced to reflect the lower purchase price.
