Renault Trucks has revealed the updated Master Red Edition, set to launch in 2024. This refreshed range includes both electric and diesel options to meet the needs of a wide range of commercial customers.
Electric and Diesel Options
The electric version of the Master Red Edition van has received a significant update over the outgoing model. There’ll be a choice of 40kWh or 87kWh battery packs, providing a WLTP range of up to 254 miles. The van will also operate near-silently and emit zero tailpipe emissions, making it a practical choice for urban areas with strict emissions regulations.
Renault Trucks will also give buyers the option of diesel power, with power outputs between 105hp and 170hp. A nine-speed automatic gearbox is included for smoother driving, and CO2 emissions have been reduced compared to previous models.
Adaptable Body Styles and Features
The Master Red Edition is available directly from the factory in several configurations, including panel vans, crew cabs, tippers, dry box options, and chassis cabs. Renault Trucks offers additional customisation options through its network, allowing users to tailor their vehicles to specific industries. Each model will also be pre-equipped with mechanical and electrical features that facilitate bodywork operations.
The panel van model will be available in four configurations, with two body lengths and two body heights.
Modern Cabin and Safety Enhancements
The updated Master Red Edition cab includes a wraparound dashboard, a 10.1-inch infotainment display, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin also features a wireless induction charger to keep devices topped up and USB sockets for wired connections. The electric version comes with a standard digital instrument cluster.
Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and traffic sign recognition are all present.
Support for Business Needs
Renault Trucks is backing the Master Red Edition with dedicated maintenance plans. Each personalised plan enables servicing to be scheduled and maintenance operations combined, ensuring maximum uptime. The electric version benefits from additional services, including charging infrastructure support and monitoring tools.
