ULEZ Expansion Fuels Hefty Discounts on Maxus Electric Vans • Professional Pickup

Van drivers in London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) can save up to £31,500 on a new Maxus van and receive a free EV charger when they buy a new pure-electric vehicle.

Following the expansion of the ULEZ zone at the end of August — it now includes all 32 London boroughs and the City of London — Transport for London (TfL) extended its scrappage scheme to encourage light commercial vehicle operators to move to less polluting models.

TfL will provide a grant of up to £9,500 to scrap a non-ULEZ-compliant van (up to £11,500 for a minibus) and replace it with an electric model. Maxus is topping that up with discounts on its range of electric vans, with up to £15,000 off its largest eDeliver 9 panel van. The full range of discounts on offer to Maxus LCV customers are:

Maxus eDeliver 9 Panel Van and Minibus: £15,000
Maxus eDeliver 9 Chassis Cab: £14,000
Maxus eDeliver 3 Panel Van and Chassis Cab: £1,000
Maxus T90 EV Pickup: £6,000

With the government’s plug-in van grant still available and offering up to £5,000 off the cost of an electric van, it brings the maximum possible saving to an impressive £31,500. For those looking at a large panel van, the savings can reach £29,500. For those wanting something smaller, savings on the medium-sized eDeliver 3 can total up to £15,500.

Alongside the discount, Maxus is offering each new customer a free Indra or Easee electric charge point installation, subject to some terms and conditions.
