The Iveco Daily 4×4 Tigrotto, a special edition vehicle based on the rugged Daily 4×4, will now be offered in right-hand drive for UK customers.
Revealed at IAA 2022 in Hannover, the Tigrotto proved to be a star of the show. It pays homage to its namesake, the original 1957 Tigrotto, which was designed for heavy-duty missions and spawned numerous variations over 15 years. The new Tigrotto can be ordered as a chassis cab, enabling bodybuilders to unleash their creativity on this highly capable platform.
All variants of the Tigrotto are powered by a 3.0-litre 180hp diesel engine coupled to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Thanks to the Daily’s truck-based chassis, the 7.2-tonne Tigrotto is available with a payload of up to 4,165kg and body lengths up to 4,450mm.
Meaning ‘tiger cub’ in Italian, the Tigrotto is equipped to venture from the beaten track, with three locking differentials and low-speed gearbox ratios to maximise traction. An advanced Electronic Stability Program helps prevent wheel-slip. A significantly increased ride height combined with excellent approach and departure angles further adds to this Daily’s rugged credentials.
The Tigrotto’s two-tone bodywork and red elements hark back to the 1950s original, as does the instantly recognisable badging. Retro-inspired wheels and rounded spotlights create a classic look that’s both stylish and functional.
Enhancements extend to a cab that presents a “vintage” inspired dashboard finished in contrasting shades and crowned with a Tigrotto logo. Specially branded floormats are also unique to this special edition model.

List prices aren’t available, but expect a lower price if your company is buying 100 at a time. For individual buyers, remember that the Tigrotto is based on the Daily 4×4, which starts at more than £70,000 and only goes up in price from there. Expect very little change from £90,000 or beyond.
