We just got word that Brother James is going to speak at the PUA World Summit at on the All-Star Panel.  Some of the biggest names in the industry will also speak including David Wygant, Vince Kelvin, DJ Fuji, Mehow, and Brad P.

That being said… we think the term PUA needs to go out like the way of the dodo.   PUA has such a negative connotation and there’s a huge stigma attached to the term.  This whole movement is really about the betterment of men.  We have seen drastic changes in the lives of individuals that we have coached.  It’s really about you taking control of your life and living it to the fullest.

Wonder why you are getting the same results week after week?

I was thinking to myself today regarding what really needs to happen for someone to get good at dating.  What do you think it is?

When you go out and get the same results is it your fault or theirs?

Take, for example, my friend ‘Mary,’ she goes out all of the time and complains that no one approaches her.  She can’t understand why.   Given Mary is a rather attractive woman and has a lot going for her.  Guys should be falling over her, but they are not.

I’ve gone out with her, and know exactly why she doesn’t get approached.  She’ll go sit down in the farthest corner in a booth where no one can see her.   When she walks around, her head is down, arms are crossed and gives off the vibe that she can’t be dealt with.

What guy is going to approach her?  Her body language shows ‘I’m closed off.’  She hides in the corner of the bar.  She goes to the same locations and never changes.

Too many guys do this too.

These bad habits are limiting their success.

If something isn’t working, change it!

STOP doing the same things over and over again expecting a different result!

First, address what are your habits:  notice where you go, where you stand/sit in a location, what does your body language show, are you smiling, do you give opportunities to approach/be approached?

Now, that you have a list of what you do and how you go about meeting people, Start Changing it!

If you go to the same bar, club, grocery store, book store, etc., change it to another location.  Go to a museum.  Join a soccer team.  Just stop doing the same thing!

Instead of standing in the corner of the room, stand in the middle.  There’s more traffic and people can get to you with ease.

If you want to get good at dating, you’re going to have to focus on dating.  Take inventory of what you do and how you do it.  Start making changes.

Give complements to complete strangers!   Just go out and do it!

One of the quickest and most effective way to do this is have a dating coach that can help you through your metamorphosis.   They should easily be able to see your patterns and show you what you’re doing wrong.  A well trained coach can remove months of frustration and boost you to the next level of dating.

Nothing happens without action.  This is worth saying twice.  Nothing happens without action.

Go out and make it happen.   Start changing and start your journey.

There’s always a bit of fear that goes into approaching women.   From the moment you see who you want, your reptilian part of your brain starts to fire off all kinds of reasons why you should preserve your ego from getting bruised.

“She’s out of my league.”

“She’s talking to someone.”

“She must be with that guy.”

“She saw me look at her but she didn’t smile back.”

“She’s too _______.”

The typical advice is not to think so much and just go talk to her.  Everyone has heard of the “three second” rule by now.  And yet, if that solves the problem, why does it continue to affect so many guys?

Well, let’s face it, a three second window of opportunity is pretty small and rather impractical. I’ve seen this scenario play out thousands of times.   I’ve been in those ruts myself, like most experienced guys have also been.  The problem, the fear of rejection or whatever, just doesn’t go away.   And we all know, the longer you wait, the harder it is, as if your feet grow roots into the floor.  It’s just easier to talk to your friends and complain about the lack of available women that it is to grab your balls and talk to her.

But there’s one thing you have to fear, more the fear itself: boredom.

Boredom is nearly useless.  The only thing boredom does is to remind you that you are letting life slip by you.  Boredom is what you regret spending time on, every time. Worse yet, the more boredom you have in your life, the more boring you are as a person.  And nothing can kill an opportunity with someone then by actually being downright… boring.

Frankly, boredom will keep your fat ass in doors.   It’ll keep you from going to the gym.  It’ll keep you from trying new events.  It’ll keep you from traveling around the world.  Or staying in that shit job because it pays the bills.  No one talks about the boring times they’ve spent, why?  Because it’s damn boring to hear it.   Frankly, boredom will drain your life away.  You should fear that above all else.

So I propose the next time you are out, and you start rooting into the floor with fear that the “timing” isn’t right to talk to a group of girls, decide right there that of all the things you could be, you are not going to boring.  You will not be lame!

Then just go and blow the damn set up, simply to see what happens.  It’ll be far more entertaining that just standing around doing nothing.   I’ll take risk of a momentarily bruised ego for getting shot down, than boredom any day.  It’s frankly a lot safer.
